Marzia, an Italian visual artist based in Lisbon, embarked on her artistic journey in Italy. After studying Drama, Art, and Music at the University of Bologna, she explored filmmaking in Portugal. Joining the Droid-id collective in 2011 marked a pivotal moment, propelling her into the realms of video editing and VJing. Editing official documentaries for the Boom Festival since 2012 immersed her in the psychedelic culture, shaping her creative expression. In 2013, she took a cosmic turn, delving into astrology at the Academy of Traditional Astrology in Lisbon. Marzia’s fusion of astrology and nature in “The SpaceShip Project” seamlessly merges Scanography art with a deep understanding of stars and nature. Her collages, inspired by the sacred geometry of nature, open a cosmic conversation with an elegant and psychedelic style, envisioning a new human paradigm as Earth-keepers in harmony with the cosmos.
