Nuno Ferreira, musician, producer, and space traveler, transforms hypnotic sounds into a collective journey through melancholic landscapes. Blending post-rock, deep electronica, and fado-like mantras, he is expressing the human condition through sounds.

Carlotta Premazzi is a visionary artist who explores technological empathy and creativity through multimedia design and live performances. Since 2018, with the LUCID DREAM project, she has also been using her brain waves in real time to create immersive and transformative experiences.
CONCEPT
An experience that opens the mind through the collaboration of two visionary spirits—showing the human condition and vulnerability not only through sounds but also through tangible images. This joint work presents a multi-layered audiovisual experience, creating live images during and based on smokedfalmon’s live musical performance. Exploring deep human emotions, contemporary fado-esque sounds, and post-rock elements, reinforced with visual images by Carlotta Premazzi.

Adaptable
The show is adaptable to locations of all sizes, using fabrics, panels and projectors to create an immersive experience for the audience.
Emotional
Can there be light without darkness?
Delving deep into the process of breaking the emotional loop, starting at rockbottom from despair and finding the strength to continue the passage, resulting in a cathartic moment, once realised that only acceptance of the darkness within sets us free and allows us to move forward towards the light.
Captivating
Previously performed at the Goethe Institute Portugal (Lisbon), Casa do Comum (Lisbon) and Museu0 (Tavira), the performance combines an audio experience with live visual creation, resulting in a captivating 60min show.
ARTIST STATEMENT
CARLOTTA PREMAZZI – VIDEO ART
A delicate blend of satellite and generative images, natural elements and abstract shapes, reactive to the sound, made with TouchDesigner.
The live video in Preso num Loop unfolds as a journey into the deep. Images remain in constant transformation, never fixed, never fully resolved. Visual fragments return, dissolve, and reappear, forming loops that stretch time and invite immersion.
Repetition becomes a sensitive territory. Textures, densities, and rhythms shift subtly as layers accumulate and fade. Light and shadow coexist, revealing abstract inner landscapes shaped by memory, tension, and quiet movement.
The visual does not illustrate sound; it listens to it. It responds to intensity, pauses, and vibration, behaving as a living presence within the performance. Each iteration generates a unique visual state, shaped by the moment, the space, and the act of live creation.
Within repetition, small variations open passages of transformation. The loop becomes a place to remain, to descend, and to experience depth rather than escape.
